Made In Japan

Japan is an island nation in the western Pacific Ocean, just off the coast of mainland Asia that sustains a population of over 120 million people. The country is made up of more than 6,000 archipelagos, but 97% of the population is located on just four of those islands. They are a progressive country that is well known for their presence in technology and they are considered one of the most powerful economies in the world. They have an influence in the world in a lot of different ways and some of these ways have become staples throughout the world.

Two of the major exports of Japan are their cars and motorcycles. Honda, Subaru, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Kawasaki, plus a bunch more are all car and motorcycle companies that were founded and headquartered in Japan. There are fans of these brands all over the world and they are loyal customers who will only buy a car or motorcycle made by that particular brand. Japanese vehicles are exported all over the world to over 130 countries. There are even certain mechanic shops that will specialize in working on these cars. One of the things that many Japanese vehicles and motorcycles are known for their dependability.

Another one of the things that Japan has given to the world is anime. Anime is the word that they use in Japan to refer to animation in general. Japanese animation has a character all its own and has a cult-like following as well. Many of the anime cartoons, movies, comic books, and graphic novels are geared towards adults, but there are those that are made for children as well. There are anime fans all over the world that are checking the internet all the time, hoping to see when the next installment of their favorite anime will be coming out. Anime has created a following that it has developed a strong presence at comic-cons and cosplay events all over the world.

Food is something that is going to be specific to where it comes from and be a reflection of the culture. Japan has given the world a variety of foods that millions of people enjoy all the time, and they may not even realize that it is Japanese. Sushi, Udon, Sashimi, and Tempura are all types of dishes and foods that are native to Japan. These are simple dishes that reflect the islands of Japan as a culture. Much of the food is very simple and it is made in such a way to highlight the ingredients. Much of the food is also based on seafood because of the richness of the oceans surrounding the islands.

Martial arts are another part of Japanese culture that has made its way across the globe. There are numerous martial arts that originated in Japan including aikido, judo, ninjutsu, jujutsu, and kickboxing are just a few of them. Judo is even a martial art that has become an Olympic sport. These martial arts are appreciated by those who practice them and are loved by them as well. Those who study martial arts take their craft seriously and will study for their entire lives in order to master it.

Then there are those who appreciate the culture as a whole and are fascinated by it. They choose to study the history in college and the language as well. Those who study it in college are considering working in anthropology or even international business so that they will be able to travel there to work at some point in their lives. They are fascinated by the culture that has been created on the various islands of Japan and they want to be able to turn it into a central focus of their lives.

Japan is a fascinating place that has a pulse and culture that are unique and unlike any other in the world. It is the type of place that many people dream of vacationing to at some point in their lives. Many people don’t realize all the different things that are apart of our everyday lives that have been borrowed from the Japanese culture.
